Sree Krishna Teacher Training Institute, Nammakkal is established in 2006.

To start Teacher Training Courses exclusively for women for the benefit of rural poor women of Nammakkal and nearby District.

Since there are number of Arts & Science college are available in Nammakkal District, there immense demand for the Teacher Training Courses aspiring young women.

The Krishna Educational and charitable Trust proposed the institute as a state of Art Institute for Women.es, lunatic asylums, poor houses or other establishment for relief and /or help to the poor old and infirm people and /or destitute. Krishna Educational and charitable Trust was founded by Sri Karunanidhi.,B.Pharm.M.S in the year 2005.

The Trust has proposed to start college of Education for women in the District of Nammakkal of Tamilnadu where there is great demand for Education Courses.

The main objective of the trust is to promote higher education among the rural women of the country.
