Som-Lalit Institute of Business Administration (SLIBA), Ahmedabad was 1999. Its affiliated to the Gujarat University.

Som-Lalit Education and Research Foundation is a trust registered under the Societies Act. The academic activities under the aegis of this Trust commenced from August 12, 1996. At present following programs are offered by various institutes of this Trust:

Som-Lalit Institute of Management Studies (SLIMS) which offers 2 years full time / 3 years part-time Post Graduate Programme leading to the degree of PGDBM (Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management) approved by AICTE.

Som-Lalit Institute of Business Management (SLIBM) which offers 2 years full time Post Graduate Programme leading to the degree of MBA (Master in Business Administration) approved by AICTE and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University.

It is managed under Som-Lalit Education and Research Foundation with its unique position as a member of the university acts as a bridge between the academic and the business world, and provides a learning ground for budding managers of the 21st century specifically.

The institute aims to contribute to the society by developing responsible managers and outstanding individuals who will take up leadership challenges in various sectors of the economy.

The institute desires to add value to organizations in particular and the society in general, through developing young individuals with a strong desire and commitment to serve the economy.

The institute’s endeavour is to develop tomorrow’s managers who are committed to provide a strong sense of ethical and responsible leadership. SLCC offers 3 years Under Graduate Programme leading to the degree of B.Com (Bachelor in Commerce).
