Solapur Social Association College of Education, Solapur was established in 1978.

The college conducts one year of full-time undergraduate degree level Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) course. Its Affiliated to Solapur University, Solapur, the autonomous educational institution has gained the recognition from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Bhopal.

Sholapur Social Association has established this college in 1978. It is one of the leading Muslim Institutions in the Western Maharashtra which has been recognised as a Minority Institution by the Govt. of Maharashtra. It is a symbol of National Integration and Secularism where more than 40% students other than Muslim are imparted education. It maintains an atmoshpere of harmony and discipline among the students of different caste and creeds. 

The college is the only centre for teaching Urdu at post graduation level in Solapur University. It has provision for teaching all subjects both in English and Marathi Media. Right from the beginning, the college results are meritorious which indicate a high standard of teaching.

The college has constituted vision T-20 committee to plan and project academic courses and activities to meet the needs of the Global community.

The college has its own independent separate and huge building in the heart of the city furnished with all educational, cultural and civic amenities.

The Sholapur Social Association, Solapur which established our Sholapur Social Association's Art's & Commerce College, Solapur has following aim and objectives.

To help financially poor and deserving students particularly for higher studies in medicine, Engineering and other professional and Technical Courses. To promote feeling of broherhood amongst citizens for Solapur. To provide education to the economically backward classes by running educational institutions such as Schools, Colleges, Hostels, Libraries and Reading Rooms.
