Solan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (SHMCH), Solan was established in 2002 by Health trust of India with the objective of providing comprehensive health care, medical education and thus attaining wellness of the people of Himachal Pradesh and adjoining states. The Solan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla and approved by the Himachal Pradesh Government & permanently recognised by Central Council of Homoeopathy & Department of Ayush under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The objective of the Health Trust of India is to provide cost-effective approach to health care, quality Homoeopathic Medical Education and health awareness among masses, many of whom are underprivileged and have little or no healthcare facilities specially in the rural areas.
