Sneha College of Teacher Education, Palakkad was established in 1975.

It is one of the constituent parts of Sneha Teacher Educational Institutions.

The teacher training institute is affiliated to University of Calicut, Malappuram. Sneha College of Teacher Education is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes for teacher’s training Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and Master of Education (M.Ed).
