Smt. Vidyawati College of Pharmacy (SVCP), Jhansi was established in 2004.

The college is approved by Pharmacy Council of India ( PCI) & All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi.

The college is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.

The college was initiated at the time when there is a need to have quality in pharmacy education and improvement in health care system in state of Uttar Pradesh.

The Institute has constructed their own building of around 55,000 Sq. Ft. area in campus of more than seven acres of Land at the city of Jhansi.
