Smt. V.P. (Veniben Premchand) Kapadia Mahila Arts College, Bhavnagar was established in 1975.
It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
The college is affiliated to M.K. Bhavnagar University, Bhavnagar and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 2(B) under Act, 1956.
It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "C" Grade - (CGPA Score 1.88 on a 4 Point Scale) in the year 2008-09.
The aim of the college is to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need in this era of information and teaching. The college comes under the Bhavnagar University, established in 1978 by the state of Gujarat.
It has been enhancing extension of the frontiers of knowledge. The University is well equipped with all modern facilities.
The college offers three years undergraduate course in Arts stream under M.K. Bhavnagar University, Bhavnagar.
Various teaching and learning techniques are being used by the faculty to impart knowledge and skills to students at this in its various departments.
