Smt.Shakuntala Nargundkar Shikshashastry Mahila Mahavidyalaya (B. Ed), Nagpur was established in 2005. Its Affiliated to Kavikulguru Kalidas Sanskrit Vishvavidyalaya, Ramtake.

The college is conducts one year of full-time undergraduate degree level Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) course in Marathi medium.

The autonomous, educational institution started its first academic session in 2005. with the intention to produce competent teachers.

MAHARSHI KARVE STREE SHIKSHAN SAMSTHA ,NAPUR PRAKALP The Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha spread its educational activities in Nagpur in the year 2002 in a sprawling Bungalow and surrounding land generously donated by Rai Bahadur Hanumantarao Nargundkar Trust as per the will of noble Lady Late Smt.Shakuntala Nargundkar.

The institute is located in the heart of Nagpur in Deonagar area. The activities started with short duration creative courses and hobby classes.

Simultaneously the renovation of old building and construction activities were started for new classroom halls and other facilities. Within a year i.e in 2005 Smt.Shakuntala Nargundkar Shikshashastri(B.Ed) Mahila Mahavidyalaya (permanent no-grant basis)affiliated to Kavikulguru Kalidas Vishwavidayalaya,Ramtek started with an intake capacity of 100 girl students.

Sports and personality development activities are common features for all the students.
