Smt. S. C. P. F. Commerce College, Dabhoi is considered as among the oldest commerce colleges in India and was established in 1968..

The educational institute is affiliated to Gujarat University. To fulfill the educational requirements of the young generation of the region, Smt. S. C. P. F. Commerce College conducts undergraduate degree level course in the field of commerce that leads to Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), a three-year full time program.

Spread over a sprawling campus, Smt. S. C. P. F. Commerce College has a wide range of basic amenities to ensure smooth conduct of the courses. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Smt. S. C. P. F. Commerce College in its various departments.

A total of 45 acre and 9 gunthas land was acquired from the generous donors and the government. Shri Chunibhai Nagjibhai Patel, Fartikuiwala, announced a donation of a very large amount for the college building and Arts College got the name and the place of its own. The former Mayor Late Dr. Maganbhai Madhavbhai Patel blessed the science college by giving donation for Science College building. Thus Dabhoi Municipal Science College came into existence in the academic year 1962 – 63. The flow of funds did not stop. A Commerce College was started in the name of Smt. Savitaben Chunibhai Patel, Fartikuiwala, Commerce College. A huge amount was offered by Late Shri Girdharlal Contractor and the college was given a name of Sheth Motilal Nathabhai Contractor College of Education, Dabhoi.

Smt. Savitaben Chunibhai Patel Fartikuiwala Commerce College is popularly known as Smt. S.C.P.F. Commerce College, Dabhoi was established in the year 1968-69 with a gracious donation from Smt. Savitaben Chunibhai Patel, Fartikuiwala, a social worker from Fartikui.

Today the responsibilities of strengthening education in the area have voluntarily accepted by our President Shri Shashikant H.

Patel, Vice-President, Shri Dilipbhai N. Patel, Hon. Secretary, Shri Thakorbhai K. Patel and the Jt. Secretary, Shri Mukesh Vasaiwala.

On the campus today, we have all about 2400+ students taking education in B. A., B. Com., B. Sc., B. Ed., M.Com., LL.B., I.T.I. etc. As a result of the dedicated efforts of these great leaders, we have established a tradition of creating new path towards the Millennium Development Goals.

In the present situation, the youth be cultivated on the real path of progress and development, so that they can go ahead on the pathway of progress and prosperity, they can be sensitive, enterprising and sensible persons and thus be the foundation of the society.

MISSION

The youths of Dabhoi town and the rural area of Vadodara District can acquire education of Commerce at home and contribute in the progress of the nation with the help of human resources available.

Our institution is situated in the rural area and the students come from remote villages and average economic backgrounds. The role of our villages and its contribution to the wellbeing of the society and state cannot be forgotten. The institution is determined to fulfill the vision of its donor who years back dreamt of introducing and erecting the facility for education in commerce and business. The institution emphasizes imparting value education based on globally required communication skills, supported by computer application and knowledge of academic subjects thereby promoting employment opportunities. The Institution makes constant efforts to develop students’ multi-skilled personality.

Our students and alumni are doing their best to serve their organization in particular and nation in general.

They perform in different fields like business, commerce, banking, agriculture, army, politics and other social organizations.

All these things are in tune of the objectives of Higher education policies. Our NCC and NSS Programs underline close link and collective efforts towards National Development and develop qualities like discipline, civic sense, leadership and unity in diversity.

The institution tries its best to welcome and adopt newer concepts in imparting education to the students. It has good blend of objectives and healthy practice. The objectives of the institution are supported by the following activities: NCC, NSS, CWDC, Saptadhara – all contribute to national development through youth.
