Smt. Kusumtai Wankhede Institute of Pharmacy, Nagpur was established in 1982 with the prime objective of providing effective & efficient education in pharmacy.

The college is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.

The scope of pharmacy practice includes more traditional roles such as compounding and dispensing medications, and it also includes more modern services related to health care, including clinical services, reviewing medications for safety and efficacy, and providing drug information.

The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

The college is managed by a reputed renowned educational society.

Since long time these institutes have very good reputation and every year a good number of students appears in the merit list of the Board and University.
