Smt. Amrutha Teachers Training Institute, Karwar was established in 2005.

The college is managed by Late Sri G.K Srinivasa Rao managed under the Vijaya Venkateshwara Vidya Samsthe.

The Institute provides course in pedagogy leading to Diploma in Education D.Ed. The candidates are admitted to two year diploma course.

The institution is providing academic training in primary/secondary school subjects clubbed with pedagogical sciences and related activities.
