Saint Mary's Syrian Pre-University College, Brahmavar (Dist. Udupi) was popularly known as SMS PU College, Brahmavar was established in 1953 by Rev Fr. P.G. Koshi under the management of OSC Educational Trust. It is one of the Oldest Institutes in Karnataka State.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
 
The college is affiliated to Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka and it has been recognized as one of the institutions of high reputation in Udupi district.
