Sir Visveswaraya Memorial Engineering College, Ahmednagar was established in 1998.

Its affiliated to U.P. Technical University.

It provides degree education in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical and Computer Engineering.

The Society aim is to provide high class education system comparable to the best in any urban area and to give a fillip to the empowerment of women through need based education.

Recently the Padmashri Vikhe Patil College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Loni has been accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) an autonomous body of HRD Ministry of Government of India and has been awarded A+ grade.

The accreditation is carried out as per internationally accepted parameters of standardization and carries great significance as far as bench marking of institution is concerned in relation to infrastructure, faculty, curriculum etc.
