Sir Madanlal Institute of Pharmacy (SMIP), Etawah was established in 2006.

The college is a constituent unit of Sir Madanlal Group of Institutions.

The college is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
