Sir Hari Singh Gour Mahavidyalaya, Sagar was established in 1964 and managed by the college management.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.
The college is affiliated with Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar.
The sole aim of reaching education to the rural and industrial masses and situated on the outskirts of the Sagar, the college now can boost by coming a long way in the path of development of education.
It is a co-educational self-financed Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the rural part of Sagar played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The college also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of education, sports and curricular activities under Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar.
The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Arts and Commerce streams with various specializations under Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar.
