Sinhgad Institute of Management (SIOM) Vadgaon(Bk), Pune was also known as SIOM Vadgaon(Bk), Pune established in 1994.

The institute was established under the management of Sinhgad Technical Education Society, also referred to as STES & which was founded by Prof. M. N. Navale in 1993 in response to the increasing education criteria in rapidly growing industry after the Open business strategy policy of Indian government.

The institute is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune was formerly known as University of Pune, Pune and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institute is recognized by Government of Maharashtra.
