Sinhgad Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Lonavala was established in 2008.

Its affiliated to University of Pune.

Besides all of the basic cooking techniques, Baking and Pastry, the art of Garde Manger, classical French, Regional & Asian Cuisine and International Cuisine, classes also cover Development of Generic & Communication Skills, Catering Science and Accountancy.

Students receive hands-on training in their Training restaurant, a full service facility, where they gain experience in service in a dining operation besides theoretical and practical training in the Housekeeping, Front Office, Hotel Maintenance and Information Technology to prepare them for the full range of challenges which they may encounter in the industry.

Sinhgad Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology is located in the picturesque and serene hills of Kusgaon (Budruk) in Lonavala, just 15 minutes from Lonavala railway station, bus stand and the Mumbai - Pune Expressway.
