About Siliguri College
Siliguri College, Siliguri was established in 1950.
Its managed by under a dispersal scheme of the refugee relief and rehabilitation department of the Government of West Bengal with a view to imparting higher education to the refugee student population of the post-partition Siliguri.
The affiliation of the college initially lay with the Calcutta University and it was after the inception of the university of North Bengal in the year 1962, that the college came to be affiliated to the latter.
