About Sikh National College, Banga

Sikh National College, Banga was established in 1953. It is affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

It is a multi-faculty, co-educational institution fulfilling the educational needs of rural students and weaker sections of the society.

College was established with to mission of strengthen religious, social and cultural values and to inculcate patriotism in the youth.

It was conceived and translated into reality by Late S. Harguranad Singh, the then MLA, in 1953.

It was later on transferred to the control of Sikh Educational Society in 1964.

The society has its head office in Chandigarh and has always played a pivotal role in providing timely guidance, support and visionary leadership.
