SIET College of Education, Baramullah was established in 1980 under the ageis of Subhan Education Trust (SET) which has been granted permission by the Govt. of J&K and affiliation to the University of Kashmir.

The Trust is all set to start Classes with sense of Commitment and devotion.

They are determined to labour to produce young men and Women who have resilience of mind, breadth of interests and generosity of emotions, to whom life is not a sordid commercial transaction, but an adv entire in faith, love and courage. This is their mandate, mission and vision.

The Institute has constructed two buildings with sufficient accommodation to house the College.

The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.
