About Shri Shivalingeshwar Women's College
Shri Shivalingeshwar Women's College, Haveri was established in 1992 managed by Shri Shivalingeshwar Swamiji.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
It is affiliated with Karnataka State Women University, Vijayapura and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.
It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (CGPA Score 2.52 on a 4 Point Scale in 1st Cycle) on 21st April 2012.
The Swamiji humbly handed that wealth over to the S.S.V.P committee to establish a women's college in remembrance of his diamond jubilee celebrations.
Thousands of devotees donated and gifted, Swamiji did not have any personal intention to words keeping all the wealth.
The institution has given priority to teaching and learning process. It has created a better teaching and learning environment in the campus through improved infrastructural and human resources.
The college offers undergraduate programs in Arts stream and the faculty with the highly qualified providing knowledge.
The college aims to be an outstanding institution of excellence in higher education to provide value based programmers to ensure academic Social (Global) and Spiritual (Eternal) development of students community so as to produce self-reliant global citizen through quality programs and to continually improve to meet ever-changing needs of the time.
