Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institutes, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bhilai was established in 2007, formerly known as Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Pharmaceutical Science.

The Institute is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) Bhilai.

The college has been amanged by Shri Gangajali Education Society.

The college is approved by AICTE and is an ISO certified institute.
