Shri S.S. Mehta Arts and Shri. M.M. Patel Commerce College, Himatnagar was established in 1965.
It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
The college is affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The results of university examinations show the consistent development of the institution. The college has spacious and well-ventilated rooms, large playgrounds and a nice library.
It provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses both in Arts and Commerce faculty. It caters to the needs of higher education for more than 3000 students. We always keep in mind the most important stakeholder of the institution i.e., a student.
