Sri Ram Krishna Mahavidyalaya was established in 2003 at Kurara Distt.Hamirpur.

The college is affiliated to Bundelkhand University.

We started a new edition of our already existing internediate college by the name of Sri Ram Krishna Mahavidyalaya at Kurara Distt. Hamirpur in the year 2003. In this co-education verture of ours, initially various subjects under faculty of Arts Viz, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, (Both Literature and Language) Sociology, Economics, Poilitical Science and Education were taught by highly expeienced and qualified lecturers in a well architectured building and related infrastructure. To extend the scope and purview of our college, subjects like Geography, History, Home Science and computers were added from the year 2004 with adequate focus on labs, buildings, classrooms etc. Bundelkhand University from time to time. From the academic year 2007 various subjects under science faculty like Physics, Chemistry, Math, Zoology & Botany have been commenced with appropriate laboratories and other infrastructure facilities. Now Post graduate classes in Hindi, Sociology, Geopgrahy and Home Science have been started for the last two years. We are also trying to have classes in Education subject by the next year positively. As such it is now a well developed POst Graduate College rendering yeo-man service in Education in this backward region. We have been able to develop adequate facilities for various indoor and outdoor sports activities over the years in a sprawling campus spread across in 14 bighas beside having N.C.C. and N.S.S training programmes also.
