Shri Laxmanrao Jarkiholi College of Education, Gokak (Dist. Belagavi) was established in 2004 and managed by Laxmi Education Trust.

Shri Laxmanrao Jarkiholi College of Education (B.Ed.) was the dream child of the management started in the year 2004-05 to promote quality education and create dedicated and next generation Teachers. This college has well qualified and dedicated staff and providing education through modern technologies.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college also offers two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) course for those who have completed their intermediate with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized college/university under the affiliating to Department of State Educational Research and Training, Bengaluru.

Students here are admitted who completed their intermediate from recognized college/university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the intermediate level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
