Shri Agrasen Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Korba was established in 1999. It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide a platform in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the path of progress.

The college is affiliated to Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur and managed by Agrawal Sabha, Korba in Chhattisgarh State with the well-defined objective of ensuring all round development and imparting quality education to girls in a secure and intuitive environment.

The college building is built on a land measuring about 1.30 Acre. The main building is surrounded by available land for playgrounds, cultural activities, canteen facility and space for parking inside the secure boundaries of the campus.

The main aim of the college is to respect and honor humanity at large and serve the society for the betterment of mankind, to endeavor, to impart education to students belonging to different strata of society irrespective of caste, color or creed, to uplift the deprived and academically weak students empowering them with knowledge, to develop social, moral, aesthetic and ethical values amongst the students, to equip the students with essential skill to sail confidently through life's complexity and challenges, to cultivate the qualities of perseverance, dedication and excellence in the students and to prepare competent citizens with strong and unflinching character.
