Shree Popatlal Dhanjibhai Malaviya College of Commerce, Rajkot was established in 1957 with the approval of Govt. of Gujarat.
The Commerce College is affiliated to Saurashtra University and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India as well as the Government of Gujarat.
Popatlal Dhanjibhai Malaviya College of Commerce is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with “A” level grade.
The College was established in 1957 with the approval of Govt. of Gujarat. College campus is spread in 11 Acres and in the shadow of more than 500 tress. Where the day grow with prayer to goddess of education "Ma Saraswati".
VISION
The main objective of the college is to motivate bright young men and women with knowledge, abilities and skills to perform their roles as versatile managers through the B.com - Full time programmed offered to them. Very efficient faculty who teach through lectures, case studies, role plays, group discussions, seminars, research based assignments, industrial visits using audio-visual support.
The college library is spread in 455 Sq.Ft. which is completely equipped with 32000 books, 47 magazines and 30 journals on all areas from management and literature and many more.
MISSION
In order to maintain pace with knowledge era, the college has a state of art computer laboratory There is two main labs one for Internet access which for access to the corporate world and current developments. And second for Multimedia studio. In the multimedia studio there is two projectors, Television, VCR, management CDs and videocassettes. and power back up system with modern resources
