Shivam College of Education, Sangrur was established in 2005.

It as a Teacher training institute by Shri Guru Nanak Dev Educational & Welfare Society, Lehra Gaga.

The College has been duly approved by NCTE, NRC Jaipur and is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala to impart instructions to the teacher trainees, both boys and girls. The college is presently located in pollution free atmosphere at Khokhar.

It is well connected with road network. Shivam College of Education offers Bachelor of Education degree course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university.
