Shivaji Science College, Pauni was established in 1988.

The institute was accredited by NAAC and affiliated with R.T.M Nugpur University, Nagpur.

The institute is part of  Shri shivaji education society Amravati, is the foundation society.

This Society was established in 1932 at Amravati 70 years ago by Dr. Panjabrao Alias Bhausaheb Deshmukh.

The institute makes special effort for the progress of education and upliftment of people   belonging to poor, rural back ward classes.
