Shiva Institute of Engineering and Technology (SIET),was established in 2009.

The college is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University.

Shiva Group of Institutions was started in the year 2007, commencing with Shiva College of Education under the aegis of Shiva Education Society. This was the first college of education (B.Ed) in Distt. Bilaspur. Now it is NAAC accredited and running with the intake 200 seats.  In 2009 the Group has started an Engineering college named Shiva Institute of Engineering & Technology, offering under graduate program in five disciplines viz. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering & Computer Science and Engineering leading to B.Tech. degree.

The mission of our college is to emerge as center of excellence for imparting quality engineering education and engaging in R&D for the development of our nation.
