Shashi Bhushan Balika Vidyalaya Degree College, Lucknow established as a school in 1942.

Its affiliated to University of Lucknow.

Its managed by late Sri. Victor Narayan Vidyant ( Founder Manager ) whose munificence and dedication nursed and natured the institution. Shashi Bhushan Balika Vidyalaya Degree College blossomed into High School, then Inter College and finally Degree College in July 1959.

Late Smt. Lila Vidyant , the founder Principal (July 1959 – April 1981 ) elevated to their present heights. Shashi Bhushan Balika Vidyalaya Degree College is now managed by the Vidyant Educational Trust.

By virtue of their location Shashi Bhushan Balika Vidyalaya Degree College caters to the needs of the weaker section of society.

The progress of the college is dependent on enlightened management, dedicated teachers, disciplined teachers, disciplined students and committed and sincere employees.

Year 2009 is the Golden Jubilee year of the college and it is desired that this institution should prosper more and better education and opportunities are to be provided to students in the forth coming years.
