Shahnaz College of Education, Medak was established in 2001.

It is an teacher education institute. The college is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad and is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) in order to conduct course in the field of teacher education.

At present, Shahnaz College of Education is offering one-year undergraduate level Bachelor of Education for the aspiring teachers.

Applicants who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Admissions are carried out on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Andhra Ed CET.
