About Shah Satnam Ji Girls' P.G. College

Shah Satnam Ji Girls' P.G. College, Sirsa or Shah Satnam Ji Girls' College, Sirsa was established in 1997 by his holiness 'Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan' to promote women education.

It is one of the premier institutions established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving girls' candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa and recognized. It is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur to offer Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.).

The college offers three years undergraduate & two years postgraduate courses in Arts, Science & Commerce stream under Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa. It also offers some Certificate & Add-On courses.

The college runs a canteen inside the campus where staff and students can have meals and snacks prepared in a hygienic manner and at an affordable cost

The college has a large playground with will-equipment for different sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton and so on
A medical facility has been available in the college for the benefit of the students
State Government and Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
The institution has provided ICT facilities like computers, projectors, audio-visual gadgets, scanners and printers to the departments and also other aids and a huge number of availability of books for effective delivery of curriculum and for inculcating the knowledge of the subject.
To sharpen the skill of students and their personality development, various curricular and extra-curricular activities are the regular features of the institution.
To fulfill the aspirations of sports loving persons and explore their potential in sports, the college has started specialized courses such as Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) and Certificate in Physical Education, Health Education, and Sports in addition to the regular subject of Physical Education at undergraduate level
The college also organizes workshops, seminars, and conferences for improving teaching skills and methodology
The college also provides NCC training to its students. The NCC cadets attend different camps and earn pride for themselves and for the college
The college Unit NSS Wing performs different type of social services within and outside of the area
The college consists Women Cell to help female students. This cell helps and guides girls to sort out from their personal problem and avoid them from any harassment
Along with this, the college lay emphasis on teaching "Martial Arts" to each and every student of the college. As Martial Arts have a unique role to play in giving women and girls essential tools for stemming violence on personal, social, and cultural levels
