Shah-I-Hamdan College of Education, Kashmir was established in 2000.
It is approved by government of J&K and affiliated to University of Kashmir.
It has already passed out three batches of students and result percentage has never been below 71%. Pass percentage in 2007 was 81%.
The college is managed by a highly active and socially aware society comprising of scientists, educationist and businessmen.
The society is named Shah-I-Hamadan Society On Education Research And Demostration.
The college is first one in Kashmir to have its class rooms fitted with CCTV to improve academic work.
The college has its own infrastructure for class-work and separate boys and girls hostel in vast 14 kanals of college campus.
