Seshadripuram College, Bengaluru Urban was established on 30th June 1973 managed by Seshadripuram Educational Trust, an organization widely recognized as a pioneer in the field of education in Karnataka and respected for its commitment to providing quality education and promoting holistic development.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Bangalore University, Bengaluru and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) on 25th May 1985 & 12(B) 30th May 1989 under Act, 1956.

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade - (CGPA Score 3.10 on a 4 Point Scale in 3rd Cycle) on 2nd May 2017.

It is a co-educational private Institute, providing a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Bengaluru played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

Seshadripuram College has carved a niche for itself among the premier institutions of higher education of Karnataka and for the last few years, has found a place among top Commerce colleges in the country in surveys conducted by reputed magazines.

In the more than 4 decades of its existence, it has grown from a student strength of 35 to its present strength of 2320 students and has continued to grow in status, moving from B++ in the first cycle of NAAC Accreditation to an A grade in the second cycle and therefore continued A Grade in 3rd accreditation.

In these 40 years, the number of degree colleges in Bengaluru has shown astronomical growth but Seshadripuram College continues to maintain its reputation and position.

It is one of the first of the affiliated colleges to be granted PG courses and to offer the BBM course.

Its students regularly find a place among rank holders in the university and its placement records are outstanding. This reputation sustained through more than 4 decades is due to the institution’s ability to adapt itself to the changing needs of the times without losing touch with its core values.

The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under the affiliating University.

The college offers three years undergraduate and two years postgraduate courses in Commerce stream with various specialization affiliating under Bangalore University, Bengaluru.

The college has an online application process where prospective applicants are expected to fill in their interests and academic achievements.

Admission has been done when seekers who have registered with the University who is scoring more than 90 % are eligible for admissions in the college.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by the Bangalore University, Bengaluru, and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
