About SDPS Women's College
SDPS Women's College, Indore is a Group of Institutions was popularly known as Dhairya Prabhadevi Sojatia Women's College, Indore which was established in 2003 and managed by Smt. Dhairya Prabhadevi Sojatia Women’s Welfare Society.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.
The college is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University - Pune, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya - Indore & Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya - Bhopal and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.
It is recognized & approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal & Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi.
The aim of the college was giving attention to women empowerment, forming their character and personality to face the challenges of the contemporary times.
It is a womens private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Indore played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under the affiliating universities.
The college was successfully offering three years undergraduate professional degree courses in Fashion Design, Interior Design, and Bachelor of Education affiliated to SNDT Women’s University, Pune.
Also offering courses in Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor in Business Administration and Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. It also offers Ph.D., Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma, and Add-On courses.
The college also runs Bachelor in Architecture recognized by the Council of Architecture and affiliated to RGPV, Bhopal.
University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by affiliating universities and various other examinations are held in the college premises.

- State Government and Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
- The institution has provided ICT facilities like computers, projectors, audio-visual gadgets, scanners and printers to the departments and also other aids and a huge number of availability of books for effective delivery of curriculum and for inculcating the knowledge of the subject
- A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
- To sharpen the skill of students and their personality development, various curricular and extra-curricular activities are the regular features of the institution
- The college Unit NSS Wing performs different type of social services within and outside of the area
- The college also organizes workshops, seminars, and conferences for improving teaching skills and methodology
- The college consists of Women Empowerment Cell for aiming at intellectual and social upliftment of the female students, the cell stands for facilitating women's empowerment through guest lectures, seminars, awareness programs, other welfare activities and to analyze underlying causes through research to women discrimination and to generate awareness
