Shridevi First Grade College, Tumakuru was also known as SDM College, Tumakuru established on 25th July 2006 managed by Sri Shridevi Charitable Trust (R).

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
 
The college is affiliated with Tumkur University, Tumakuru and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Sridevi First Grade College Tumkur is one of the famous colleges of South India. This is a self-financed, co-educational college. This college has all the modern facilities and infrastructure.

At present, the college offers three years B.A., B.Sc and B.Com programs with optional streams at the undergraduate level.
