Established in 2008 by Kisna Education Society, SD (Sheela Devi) Group of Institutions is a premier education unit imparting high quality professional and technical education for aspiring candidates.

Under SD Group of Institutions, it is divided it into two separate colleges, namely, SD Polytechnic (SDP) and Sheela Devi Institute of Management & Technology (SDIMT).

Whereas SD Polytechnic is affiliated with the Haryana State Board of Technical Education, Panchkula and Sheela Devi Institute of Management & Technology is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

Both institutes have been recognized and approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Govt. Of Haryana.

SDP offers 3 years Diploma courses in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Automobile & Computer Engineering to 10th pass students and 2 years courses in the same branches to ITI graduates.

SDIMT offers 3 years BBA, BCA & 4 years BHM undergraduate degree courses with well-qualified faculty members and good placement service.

In 2010, SDIMT was awarded as ‘The Best Upcoming Management Institute in NCR’ and also Best 'Management Institute in NCR' for the year 2011 & 2012. The award was conferred by Dr. Kiran Bedi, Mr. Chetan Bhagat & Dr. Shashi Tharoor respectively.

The SDGI campus is spread across 6 acres of land in a built-up area in excess of 100,000 square feet and boasts of a fully integrated Wi-Fi and a fully air-conditioned campus.
