School of Management Sciences, Varanasi was established in 1995. It is one of the best colleges in the field of management offering various courses in the field of management, arts, commerce, & computer for deserving candidates.

The college is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi. It was recognized and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

It was accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade - (CGPA Score 3.17 on a 4 Point Scale in 1st Cycle) on September 12, 2017.

It an autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission (UGC) in a very recent notification of the 27th standing committee meeting of NAAC held on September 12, 2017.

Since inception was marked by the unveiling of AICTE approved Post Graduate Diploma in Management with Human Resource, Marketing, and Finance specializations in 1995.

Thereafter, the school started PGDM (International Business) program approved by AICTE in 2006 and PGDM (Retail Management) program started and approved by AICTE in 2007.

School of Management Sciences is also running AICTE approved Masters of Computer Applications (MCA) program since 1997 and the course is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow since 2001.

The school also offers undergraduate courses in BBA, BCA, and B.Com. These programs are approved by Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow was introduced in the year 2012 and currently offers Marketing, Human Resource, and Finance specializations.

Around 10000 students through various academic programmes are running. It is also worth mentioning that the school has been consistent in maintaining an excellent placement record over and above 90% ever since the inception.
