School of Life and Basic Sciences, Jaipur National University, Jaipur offers various postgraduate programs and a couple of undergraduate programs.

The University has introduced teaching and research in the field of Basic Sciences, with a view to provide understanding of basic and advanced theoretical knowledge and approaches and to inculcate an interdisciplinary orientation among the students, researchers and faculty members.

It comes under the Jaipur National University, established by Government of Rajasthan and approved by UGC under Sec 2(f) of UGC Act 1956.
