School of Hotel Management, Siksha O Anusandhan University (SOHM), Bhubaneswar was established in 2004 under the aegis of Sikhsya O Anusandhan led by the founder Chairman & Chancellor Prof. Dr. Manoj Ranjan Nayak with a vision to be recognized as a world-class learning institution for Hospitality Education by providing the highest-quality academic programmes that foster student development and connect knowledge, practice, and outstanding scholarly research.

The Institute was established with the sole objective of offering the student community an option to build a career in the fast growing Hospitality and Tourism Sector. Sikshya O Anusandhan had already earned a name for itself in the academia by offering premier course in Hospitality Education. Over the last four years, the Institute has not just kept pace with the times; it has often taken a lead in participating various fests & competitions held by other hospitality institutions.
