The aim of the school is to become the most admired dental school in India with aims of global leadership in human development, excellence in dental education and oral health care.
People's University is incorporated and established by the state government notification 2011 by Madhya Pradesh Legislature through an amendment in Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam-2007 as Madhya Pradesh Act of 2011.
