The Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC) was established on 14th June 1997 as an 'in-house healthcare unit'. Under the Health Promoting University (HPU) initiative of the Symbiosis International (Deemed University), SCHC Undertakes & host of Preventive, Promote & Curative healthcare services for the students and staff of the Symbiosis family. It is operational at all the campuses of Symbiosis across India.

SCHC take care of health care needs of the entire symbiosis family. Symbiosis is an institution synonymous with providing quality education and grooming top class professionals.

The centre is concerned with the preventive, promotive and curative health of every individual under the symbiosis banner, be it a student or employee.

Symbiosis Centre of Health Care has ventured into academics to address the issue of manpower crunch of the healthcare sector. SCHC has implemented various training programs offered by the distance education mode to both entry level aspirants as well as in service professionals for their professional up gradation.

These programs provide professional education in a flexible academic package through specially prepared modules by subject experts, keeping in mind the distance education methodology and suited to the learner's pace & place.
