About Saraswati College of Computer Science
Saraswati College of Computer Science, Chhatarpur was established in 2001 and managed by Saraswati Devi Shikshan Samiti.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.
The college is affiliated with Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.
The aim of the college was to combine liberal education, intellectual freedom and exposure to societies and activities and also maintain the quality of education.
It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the semi-urban part of Chhatarpur played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The college also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of education, sports and curricular activities under Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar.
The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Computer Application streams with various specializations under Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar.
The students can take admission in a Computer Application course first to clear the entrance exam as Bocconi Entrance Test (BET).
University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
Admissions here also done through Govt. of M.P. online portal by the Department of Higher Education M.P. and hence gives a transparent and fair method of admission.

- The institution has provided ICT facilities like computers, projectors, audio-visual gadgets, scanners and printers to the departments and also other aids and a huge number of availability of books for effective delivery of curriculum and for inculcating the knowledge of the subject
- A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
- To sharpen the skill of students and their personality development, various curricular and extra-curricular activities are the regular features of the institution
- The college Unit NSS Wing performs different type of social services within and outside of the area
