Saraswati Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Faridabad was established in 1984 with a mission to serve the women community by giving them quality education.

Saraswati Mahila Mahavidyalaya is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and recognized by Director of Higher Education, Chandigarh and University Grants Commission.

Saraswati Mahila Mahavidyalaya is being run by a progressive society namely Saraswati Education Society (SES).

SES is committed to provide an excellent platform for women’s education, contributing remarkably in the field of education, having high dreams to make the women community of Palwal city 100% literate. 

Saraswati Mahila Mahavidyalaya was established in 1988-89 Affiliated to M.D. University Rohtak, the College is being run by a progressive society Saraswati Education Society (Regd.) which is committed to providing high quality education to the young girls of the area. It is running even other educational institutions also keeping in mind the educational requirements of the area.

The institution is the manifestation of the dream of "Late Sh. Lakhan Pal Mangla (Advocate), the founder of the college, Late Sh. Mool Chand Mangla (Ex. M.L.A.) ,Late Sh, Mohan Lal Mittal and Late Sh. Lalchand Ji". Since its founding, SMM has pursued its mission of quality education, responsiveness to the community, economic development and innovation in the public interest.
