Saraswati College of Education, Hisar was established on 27th August 2006 under the management of Maa Saraswati Educational Society, Hisar

To keep pace with these changes Saraswati College of Education was established in the year 2006. With its prestigious status and visionary dynamism, today it stands well poised to march ahead with the new millennium, Monitoring the growth demand for quality teacher education felt by society, this institution is pledged to touch the high water-mark in its field, much in consonance with the high norms put up by NCTE, University and the fourfold objectives i.e. Learning, doing, earning and living together laid down by the Internationanal Commission on Education by providing B.Ed. course. The College aims to impart "Excellence in Education" along with ethics and to transform the teacher students into creative planners, critical thinkers and effective practitioners.

The wide array of infrastructural facilities at college has enabled it to cultivate passion in students for learning by developing their creativity and insight. College is well-equipped: from well-equipped and dedicated educators and staff-to-the tools state of the art academic and sports infrastructure; that students need to make learning a happy and useful experience. The college has been strengthened with well-equipped resource centres like Science and Maths Resource Center, Psychology Recource center, Fine Art & Craft Resource Center, Health and Physical Education Resource Center, ICT Resource Center, Seminar Room, Library and 24-hour power back-up system & transport facilities for the conveyance of the students etc.

The college is at present affiliated with Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind formerly affiliated with Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. It is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur.

It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (in 1st Cycle) on 16th September 2011.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) & Bachelor of Education (Shiksha Shastri) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college offers two years Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the graduation level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college also offers two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) course for those who have completed their intermediate with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized college/university under the affiliating body State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Gurgaon.

Students here are admitted who completed their intermediate from recognized college/university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the intermediate level.

But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
