Sant Mela Singh College of Education, Jammu was established in 2003.

The college is managed by Sant Manjit Singh Ji. In establishing Sant Mela Singh College of Education the Dera Sant Pura Nangali Sahib has a special mission.

The College shall contribute in a humble way in Growth and Development of a happy Global Educated Society fully aware of basic values and aspirations of humanity.

The main objectives of Sant Mela Singh College of Education is to provide teacher's training to the pupil-teachers to make them the best builders of the Nation of coming generations and to extend facilities of research, development, training and consultancy to the teaching sector and to impart high quality education to the students in the society through trained teachers of this College.

The Sant Mela Singh College of Education is affiliated to University of Jammu.
