Sankaralingam Bhuvaneswari College of Pharmacy, Sivakasi was established in 1988 by Sundaravel Sivaguru Charitable Trust and Sankaralingam Bhuvaneswari Trust.

The college is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu and is affiliated to is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai.

The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi.
