Sanjivani College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SCPER), Kopargaon was established in 2004 with the four-year Bachelor's program in pharmacy affiliated to the Pune University, two-year diploma program in pharmacy recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education was started in 2003.

The SCPER is approved by All India Council of Technical Education and the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.

The college has been managed by Sanjivani Rural Education Society.

The mission of the institute is to make the use of technology and the principle instrument of economic development to improve the quality of life of people through education and training and research for advancement of pharmacy and the public health to protect and improve the physical and moral well being of the society.
