St. Claret College (SSC), Bengaluru Urban or Saint Claret College, Bengaluru Urban was established in 2005. It is a Catholic undergraduate institution established by the Claretian Missionaries of the Province of Bengaluru, a congregation of Catholic priests and brothers.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with the Bangalore University, Bengaluru and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.41 on a 4 Point Scale in 1st Cycle) on 5th May 2014.

The Congregation of Claretian Missionaries (also called Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary) was founded on 16th July 1849 by St Anthony Mary Claret, in Spain. At present, there are over 3000 Claretians working in 70 countries. On fire with love for God in Jesus Christ and fellow human beings, they engage in pastoral, social and educational endeavors for the promotion of human life and dignity.

It is a co-educational college, providing regular courses at primarily the higher secondary and undergraduate levels which are located in an urban part of a Bengaluru played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

SCC provides quality education to students in Commerce (Regular & Professional), Management, Computer Science, and Humanities. Situated in a serene campus with a lot of space and greenery within the city of Bangalore, SCC provides the best environment for holistic education which is conducive to serious academic pursuits and professional training.
